Smart Tower is a high-rise building primarily used as an office space. It was an unfinished project bought by the Philippine Long Distance Telephone (PLDT) Company, which developed it into its corporate headquarters. Today, the building has been renamed and serves as the headquarters of PLDT’s subsidiary, Smart Communications. The property was owned and managed by PLDT up until 2020, when it was sold to DMC Urban Property Developers Inc. The building has a gross floor area of 38,000 square meters. It offers ample space for businesses to set up their operations.

Designed by the architectural firm Pimentel Rodriguez Simbulan & Partners, the entire building is covered in glass panels. The structure can be divided into the podium and the tower. The podium is a cuboid structure occupying practically the entire land area of the building. It looks like a low-rise building on its own. The tower, on the other hand, is mounted on the podium. Its floors have a lower floor area than those in the podium, allowing it to recess from the street frontage. Its cross-sectional shape can be described as a square with one large rounded corner together with another square.

Situated along Ayala Avenue between H. V. Dela Costa and V. A. Rufino streets in Makati, you can commute to Smart Tower using jeepneys, UV Express vehicles, and buses traversing Ayala Avenue. You can also use a taxi, Grab, or your own car. If you use your own vehicle, the entrance to Smart Tower’s parking space is on Valero Access Road.
